Need help finding cheaper books? I have just the post for you.

Recently I have decided that I will no longer be getting my books from Amazon in light of recent news of Amazon’s questionable actions, links will be below on more information of these actions. That being said I have found some amazing websites where you can find books for extremely low prices and for my US followers even free shipping!
o   Abebooks.com
-here you can find used and new books for really cheap. I have shopped here before and I have loved the products. This website works similar to Amazon, where people can sell their books and use Abebooks as a go between to display the books they want to sell. Independent bookstores use this website to sell their books too. They also have specific Abebook sites for international shoppers.
o    Bookoutlet.com
-Bookoutlet is better known, especially in bootube. I have also shopped here and I could get eight books most of which are hardback for less than $40. I highly recommend using this site to get your books, but the downside is that they may not have a specific book you are looking for. They ship international too!
o   Half.com
-Half is an eBay-sponsored site, which is similar to Amazon. I have not shopped here, but from what I have seen they have some good prices!
o   Cheapestbooksprices.com
-This is a place where you can search for a book title and find the cheapest price that is posted on the internet for that book. You can search for the cheapest used and new book!  I have used this site many times and my bank account thanks me for it.
o   Thriftbooks.com
-I love this website the most because they are the most likely to have any book you are looking for AND shipping is free for those of us in the US! Shipping for my international followers is also a little cheaper but keep in mind that any international shipping will be pricey.
I hope this helps you save some money and get the books you have been dying to read! Happy book hunting!

52 Reasons To Hate My Father by Jessica Brody Review!

Growing up in the spotlight has not been easy for heiress Lexington Larrabee. She has had to deal with tabloids making her out to be a spoiled princess who loves trouble, and crashing her new Mercedes into a convenience store does not help that image. The world sees a spoiled brat, but Lexi has never had the one thing she really wants and needs, her father’s love. However, on her eighteenth birthday her absent father decides to act like a parent. He decides that if she wants to receive her trust fund, she will have to work a different low wage job every week for a whole year. Not only does she have to work for the first time in her life, but she is also having to deal with Luke, an annoying, slightly attractive, college intern her father hired to babysit her. Now, Lexi has fifty-two reasons to hate her father, but can she find one reason to love him?

52 Reasons To Hate My Father is an extremely fun read but it is also very touching. I thought I would dislike Lexi’s character at first but once I started reading I began to empathize with her and as the story went along, I began to get angry with her father on her behalf. Once I become emotionally invested in a book I know there is no turning back, and I was quickly captivated by Lexi’s story. There was drama, romance, and even a little mystery, which surprised me, but when I finished this book, I was so happy with it I just had to review it. I can give you fifty-two reasons and more why I love this book, but I will only give you two. One, Lexi’s character is someone you can easily empathize with and that I something that all readers love. I can place myself in her shoes and live the story with her, without having to be an heiress or know what that is like. Second, her story is one that pulls on your heart. You can feel the pain and anger that she harbors towards her father and that makes you interested to see how the story ends. Lexi’s story makes you want to know more. I have to say that 52 Reasons To Hate My Father has made it onto my favorite’s shelf, and Jessica has moved herself onto my auto-buy list. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fun contemporary read, but also a book that goes a little deeper than just being fun to read. I give 52 Reasons To Hate My Father five out of five stars.

Promise of Shadows by Justina Ireland Review!

Zephyr Mourning is in hell, literally. She has killed a god, a feat no one has ever accomplished and the gods are out to get her. Her punishment was to be sent to the lowest level of the underworld. However, Zephyr escapes and is on the run from her prison camp when a boy from her past suddenly shows up and changes everything. With his arrival, he brings the news that she just might be the Nyx, a dark goddess come to life who is prophesied to change the balance of power for everyone. It is now Zephyr’s job to save the half-gods who have lived in fear of the gods for ages. However, she fails to see how she can save anyone when she cannot even save herself.  Zephyr must take charge of her dark power even if it means losing herself or else the whole world will be lost.

From the very first page of Promise of Shadows, I was hooked. We are thrown into Zephyr’s life in the underworld and I could not stop reading from there. Right away, we come to understand that Zephyr has not had an easy life and I am immediately attached to her.  It usually takes a while for me to get attached to a character, but within 5 pages of Promise of Shadows I was feeling for Zephyr. I loved her feisty side but I also loved that she was sensitive too. The action in this book does not disappoint either. This book is one whole action packed journey. I was never bored, even for a moment and I was always kept on my toes wondering what would happen next. I also loved the interactions Zephyr had with the famous gods too. That is one thing I love about Greek mythology based books. I love the fact that we get to see and read about the gods and see how authors imagine them to be. Everything about this book is captivating from the journey and struggle Zephyr goes through to the romance and emotions she has to deal with. It has everything a book needs and a reader wants. It has romance, fighting, amazing characters, and a journey of self-discovery. Promise of Shadows has landed itself among my top ten favorite books and I believe it will be everyone’s favorite too. Do not miss out on this amazing book, you will love it as much as I do. I will definitely be reading more of Justina Ireland’s books.  I give it five out of five stars.

The Art of Lainey Review by Paula Stokes Review!!!

Lainey Mitchell is ready to spend her summer break with her gorgeous boyfriend , Jason, until out of the blue, he dumps her in a crowded diner where she works, no less. Lainey is crushed, but she is no quitter. She is determined to win Jason back, and her best friend is sure they can use The Art of War to do just that. She persuades Micah, her co-worker, to pose as her new boyfriend to make Jason jealous, and after a few dates, it looks like it might be working. However, Now Lainey and Micah’s relationship is starting to feel not so fake. Lainey must decide what she wants before it is too late. Too bad The Art of War cannot help Lainey choose.

I do not know about you all but I crave books where the main character is plotting and scheming to get something and The Art of Lainey has just that. This book is fun filled, action packed, and fill of scheming and I adored it. Micah and Lainey's relationship is so complex and unpredictable that you want to keep reading just to figure out what they will do next. Also, Lainey’s story is so relate-able . You or someone you know have all been in a situation where a guy/girl breaks up with you and you want him/her back, but you have to scheme and plan to get his/her attention. One of the many things I love about this book is that fact that Lainey and Bianca are little masterminds and I can totally relate to that sneaky, scheming , and relentless attitude. I had so much fun reading this because of the sheer genius of using The Art of War to win back an ex is mind blowing. This book also makes you think about your own life, like how good change can be. The Art of Lainey teaches you that change is sometimes for the best. I do not know about you, but I love books that are fun and amazing that also leave you thinking about your own life. Best of all, the ending had me smiling nonstop. I was so happy after I finished it that I just sat on my bed smiling like an idiot for a while. You all NEED to read this book because it has quickly moved itself onto my favorite’s shelf. I give it five out of five stars.
