Play with Me by Anna Katmore Review

Play with Me is a cute YA novel that will warm your heart. This book is about loving someone who does not love you back, and I think we all can relate to that in some way. That is what I love about this book; you can relate to it. Play with Me is a novel that you can read, and it will make you laugh and give you that “aww” feeling.
Play with me is about a girl named Liza, who has been in love with her best friend, Anthony, for a while. Therefore, when Tony goes out for the soccer team, Liza decides to try out as well so that she can be closer to him and understand his love for soccer even though she hates it. However, things do not quite pan out as Liza expected when Tony starts hanging out with another girl, who seems to have it out for Liza. Liza is determined to learn how to play soccer so Ryan, Tony’s best friend, decides to enlist his help, and things start to heat up. Liza starts to question whether she truly loves Tony or if her true feelings lie with Ryan.
This novel is short but sweet. Play with Me is a book you can read to pass the time, and it will not leave you emotionally scarred. I love books like these because sometimes you just need a feel good book to take your mind off things.I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story with a little jealousy involved. Do not lie, you know you like a little jealousy in a book. This book was good but it did not blow me away so I give it a four out of five stars.
